About Me

La Petite Meow: Since I was very young people have been confiding in me. I have seen it as a great priviledge that they feel safe enough with me to open up and share their thoughts and fears. It has taught me a lot. The lessons have not always been easy ones. It is difficult to watch other people struggle and to care so much about their victory but, ultimately, acknowledge that each of us must find our own path and make our own choices, good and bad! What is obvious to the observer maybe be completely hidden from the person who has the power to do something about it. And they (usually) don't like to be told! So what can we do? Just love them. Continue to listen and cross our fingers. Sometimes to let them go, trusting they will find their way. But surely there is more? I feel it is now time for me to start to reflect back some of what I have observed, to share any insights I may have. Perhaps this simple blog will help others as they journey and smooth their path in some small way.
